Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to Feather's websites, applications, and expense operations services (the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you use Feather for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
If your organization has a separate written agreement with Feather, that agreement controls to the extent it conflicts with these Terms.
Accounts and workspace administration
You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. Workspace administrators control membership, roles, policies, integrations, and access to organization data.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for ensuring that your use of Feather complies with your organization's policies and applicable law.
Permitted use
You may use the Services for legitimate business expense operations. You may not:
- Use Feather for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive activity.
- Upload malicious code or interfere with the security or operation of the Services.
- Attempt to access another user, organization, or system without authorization.
- Reverse engineer or circumvent technical restrictions except where law permits.
- Use automated means that materially degrade or overload the Services.
- Submit content you do not have the right to process or disclose.
Customer data and integrations
You retain ownership of data you submit to Feather. You grant Feather the rights needed to host, process, transmit, and display that data solely to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services and to comply with law.
When you connect Google Calendar, Slack, email, accounting, or another third-party service, you authorize Feather to exchange data with that service as described during the connection flow and in our Privacy Policy. Your use of a third-party service remains subject to that provider's terms.
Automated and AI-assisted features
Feather uses automation and AI-assisted systems to extract documents, apply policies, identify exceptions, recommend classifications, and support operational decisions. These features can make mistakes and do not replace the professional judgment required for legal, tax, accounting, employment, or payment decisions.
Your organization is responsible for configuring policies, reviewing material decisions, and confirming that outputs are appropriate before relying on or exporting them.
Feather technology and feedback
Feather and its licensors own the Services, software, designs, documentation, trademarks, and related intellectual property. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Feather's technology to you.
If you provide feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.
Availability and changes
We may update, add, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services. We aim to operate Feather reliably, but integrations, third-party services, maintenance, security events, and factors outside our control may cause interruptions. We may limit access when reasonably necessary to protect users, data, or platform integrity.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." Feather disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Feather will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Any additional liability terms in a written customer agreement will control where applicable.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Feather at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, unlawful activity, nonpayment under an applicable order, or when required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms and will post the revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after an update becomes effective means you accept the revised Terms, where permitted by law.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to yair@featherglobal.com.
